Low self-esteem seems to plague so many in our society today, especially our children. Imagine how incredibly life changing the gift of being confident, self-assured and capable of doing anything
would be for you and the children you teach.
I had the honor of speaking with Dr. Joe Rubino, who is the CEO of the Center for Personal Reinvention and is acknowledged as one of the world's foremost experts on the
topic of elevating self-esteem.
We discussed the origins of low self-esteem and the destructive behaviors that result from them. We talked about how science shows a direct correlation between low self-esteem and being insecure, procrastination, frustration, worrying, anger, bullying, depression, fear and failure to create the results we want in life.
More importantly, Joe shared with us strategies and techniques to help raise the self-esteem in our children so they can live empowered lives built on a solid foundation enabling
success in all areas of life.
What I found most interesting was the fact that the level of success we enjoy in anything is the result of what we are taught we are capable of. That made me really sit up and wonder if, somehow, we as adults are inadvertently passing on our own issues to our children without even being aware of it.
To find out what Joe had to say on that topic and so much more, check out this session. The easy to implement suggestions you'll hear will change your life and the lives of your kids.
